When and where are your services?
We have two worship times on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30am. They are both identical, so just come to the service most convenient for you. Our church meets at 327 West Stevens Street in Cookeville, TN. It's right off Willow Avenue, about a mile from the Tennessee Tech campus. Here's a map for you.
What do I do when I get there?
When you arrive on our campus, feel free to park in the guest parking area across Stevens Street in front of the church. Then just head to the main front entrance where you'll be greeted by one of our volunteers. They'll hand you a worship guide, answer any questions you have, and help guide you to the kids area if you brought your family with you. Here's a campus map to help you get around.
What about my kids?
We have a safe, fun kids area with incredible volunteers to serve your children during either service. One of our greeters will guide you to the right place. To learn more about what we have for your kids, check out this page.
What is the service like?
Our worship services typically last a little over one hour, and consist of congregational singing led by our worship choir and band, followed by a sermon by our senior pastor, Scott Parkison. If you don't have a Bible, that's ok! We'll have the text on the screens, or you are welcome to use one of the Bibles in the pew in front of you. At some point during the service, we collect an offering from our congregation. This is an act of worship for our church members, and you will not be expected to give. We're just glad to have you as our guest!
What next?
We're here to answer any questions you have about our church or about life and spiritual things. Just drop us a line, give us a call (931) 526-6398, or stop by our offices during the week. We really believe growth happens in the context of smaller groups, so we'd love to connect you with a group that fits your stage of life. These "Life Groups" are a huge part of what it means to be connected with Stevens Street. Learn more about them here.
