Important Kids Ministry Reminders
As we get rolling into a new school year, here are a few important Kids Ministry Reminders:
Kids cannot check in themselves. A parent/guardian or teenage sibling must be present at the Check-In Desk. Please have your Parent Pick-Up tag with you for pick-up.
Please do not leave your child alone in the lobby. For everyone’s safety, please do not allow your child to play in the lobby unsupervised.
24-hour symptom free sick policy. We ask that all kids be symptom free from any sickness for 24 hours before returning to the Kids Ministry.
The Kids Ministry doors will open at 5:30pm on Wednesday nights. You child is welcome to come play and hang out before Wednesday night activities.
Sickness Policy Reminder
Just a friendly reminder about our Sickness Policy as we enter cold and flu season. If your child has been sick, we ask that they be symptom free for at least 24-hours before returning to the Kids Ministry. As a precaution, if someone in the household is feeling unwell, it’s a good idea to keep children at home to help prevent the spread of illness. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping our church community healthy and safe!
Stevens Street Church Plant
Stevens Street is prayerfully planning to plant a new church in Cookeville in March of 2025. Check out our webpage at stevensstreet.org/churchplant for updates about this process and how you can be involved in Kingdom Community Church, whether by praying, giving, or going to be a part of this new Gospel-centered work in our city for the glory of God. Be on the lookout for more information soon about this exciting new step in the life of our church.
Kids Explorer Bible
Sometimes families ask about a good Bible to purchase for their child. The Kids Explorer Bible (Christian Standard Bible translation) goes along with our Sunday morning curriculum with special connections. There are many great options, but this one has been a good one for kids and families. Below are a few links to places to purchase one for your child.
How can we pray for you?
If you or your family have a prayer need, we would like to pray for you. Simply reply to the Parent Text Message or email Adam Pharris at apharris@stevensstreet.org with your request.
